You must obtain a license to permanently place a dumpster on private property or in the public right of way (on the street or sidewalk). You need a construction container license to rent or maintain garbage containers for construction. For example, a construction company or a dumpster rental company could obtain this license. A license issued to the company can cover all the garbage containers in its fleet, but there is a separate fee for each container.
The price of your garbage container includes filling it only once within the tonnage allowance and the days of use allowed.
